BFRT safely restricts venous blood flow from a working muscle while allowing arterial blood flow to that muscle. This innovative approach proves instrumental in enabling patients to initiate post-surgical rehabilitation sooner than traditional methods allowed.
The PRO pump included in the package is equipped to monitor and autoregulate pressure inside the cuff during exercise. The cuffs themselves are 4 inches wide, ensuring safety as lower pressures are required to achieve Limb Occlusion Pressure (LOP).
